1. What’s Covered

Jump Start: Battery boost/replacement if battery is dead (battery cost not included unless upgraded to Premium/Ultimate). Flat Tire Change: Replace spare (customer’s spare tire required). Fuel Delivery: up to 2 gallons of fuel; customer pays for any additional fuel beyond 2 gallons. 

2. Response Radius & Mileage

Each tier defines a “base radius” (40 mi, 60 mi, or 80 mi). Service trips within that radius incur no additional trip charge. Once you exceed the base radius, a mileage charge of $0.70 / mile (round-trip from dispatch point) applies. 

3. Additional Perks

(Premium & Ultimate Only) Diagnostic Phone/Remote Session: If you can’t get your car started, we can talk you through quick checks (e.g., checking battery voltage, fuses, etc.) before sending a tech. Annual Bonus Inspection: During any roadside call, we’ll perform a brief safety inspection: check brake pads, battery voltage, or fluid levels (one service of your choice per 12 months). Discount on Repairs: If we identify an issue and you schedule follow-up work within 30 days, you get 10 %–15 % off labor/parts, depending on tier. 

4. Limitations & Exclusions

Towing is not included (Nick’s Mobile Mechanic LLC does not offer towing services). For a tow, the subscriber arranges a tow company. Locked-out vehicles (keys locked inside) are not included—consider adding a “lockout” add-on if there is demand. Coverage applies to operable passenger vehicles only (sedans, SUVs, trucks). No RVs, heavy commercial trucks, or motorcycles. If a requested service is not feasible on-site (e.g., severe engine mechanical failure), the subscription call converts to a standard service call at $85/hour + mileage. 

5. Cancellation Policy

You may cancel anytime; no refunds for partial months. If canceled mid-year, you continue to receive benefits until next renewal date. We reserve the right to terminate subscription if a customer abuses the service (e.g., repeated “no-start” calls when vehicle is inoperable).

1. Service Agreement

By booking an appointment with Nick’s Mobile Mechanic LLC, you (“the customer”) agree to the following terms. These terms apply to all automotive diagnostic, maintenance, and repair services performed by Nick’s Mobile Mechanic LLC (“the company”).


2. Mobile Service Terms

Nick's Mobile Mechanic LLC operates as a mobile service provider. We come to your location (home, workplace, or roadside). You are responsible for ensuring a safe, accessible, and legal working environment for your vehicle.

  • If the vehicle is in an unsafe or illegal location (e.g., highway shoulder), service may be refused.

  • Additional charges may apply for remote locations. Mileage is charged at $0.70 per mile after 40 miles from Barnegat, NJ.


3. Estimates & Pricing

  • Labor is billed at $85/hour, unless otherwise quoted as a flat rate.

  • Written or verbal estimates are not final and may be subject to change if additional issues are discovered.

  • You will be notified before any additional work is performed.

  • Special package deals (e.g., Roadside Assistance Bundle, Winter Package) include specific services only.


4. Payment Terms

  • Payment is due upon completion of service.

  • Accepted payment methods: Cash, Cash App, Credit/Debit Card, Apple Pay, Google Pay.

  • A deposit is required for all parts


5. Parts & Warranty

  • Parts may be customer-supplied or sourced by Nick's Mobile Mechanic LLC.

  • No warranty is provided on customer-supplied parts.

  • A 30-day labor warranty is provided for work performed, unless otherwise stated.

  • Manufacturer warranties apply for new parts where applicable.


6. Cancellations & No-Shows

  • Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations.

  • Same-day cancellations or no-shows may be charged a $100 service fee.


7. Liability Disclaimer

  • Nick’s Mobile Mechanic LLC is not liable for pre-existing issues, undiagnosed problems, or damage caused by faulty customer-provided parts.

  • The company is not responsible for delays due to weather, traffic, or parts availability.

  • All work is performed at your own risk when conducted on public or private property not owned by you.


8. Diagnostics

  • Diagnostic services start at $85 and cover one system.

  • If additional time or systems are required, labor may be billed hourly.

  • Diagnosis does not guarantee resolution unless repair is performed.


9. Roadside Assistance Bundle

  • Bundle includes 4 service calls per year for jump start, flat tire change, fuel delivery, or lockout assistance (where available).

  • Annual price: $200.

  • Service is limited to Ocean County, NJ. Additional charges may apply for extended areas.


10. Customer Responsibilities

  • You must disclose all known issues prior to service.

  • You must have permission to authorize repairs on the vehicle.

  • You are responsible for all legal compliance (e.g., registration, insurance).


11. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from services performed will be addressed first through direct communication. If unresolved, both parties agree to resolve the matter through small claims court in Ocean County, NJ.


12. Modifications

Nick's Mobile Mechanic LLC reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Updated terms will be posted on https://nicksmobilemech.com.
